Manulife Place Podium Repositioning

Manulife Place has undergone a transformative $45 million redevelopment that has revitalized the iconic 36-storey tower and repositioning it to meet the expectations of today's premier office tenants. The project modernizes the retail podium, common areas, and amenity spaces while enhancing the building's overall presence within the downtown core.

Key improvements included the addition of new glazing at the ground and second levels, a redefined streetscape and lobby entrance experience. The two-storey retail podium was comprehensively upgraded with new flooring, LED lighting, and redesigned communal spaces. New amenities included a premium fitness centre, expanded bike storage, a tenant lounge, a state-of-the-art conference centre, and a 45,000 sq. ft. rooftop terrace.

The redevelopment repositioned Manulife Place into a vibrant mixed-use destination, with new food and retail offerings complementing the building's anchor tenant, National Bank of Canada.
