River Cree Indigenous Thermal Spa
Enoch, AB
Hospitality
The River Cree Indigenous Thermal Spa is a new wellness destination being built at the River Cree Resort and Casino in Enoch, Alberta, just south of the intersection of Chief Lapotac Boulevard and Road C. Developed in partnership with River Cree Ventures Limited Partnership, the project reflects a significant investment in Indigenous-led hospitality and wellness infrastructure, expanding the resort's offerings with a purpose-built thermal spa experience.
The 60,000-square-foot facility will feature 11 outdoor pools and 4 saunas, supported by 215 parking stalls, creating an expansive, immersive thermal wellness environment for guests.
Construction is set to begin in the summer of 2026. As a cost-reimbursable construction management engagement, the project underscores Probus' collaborative approach to project delivery, partnering closely with ownership from an early stage to manage risk, control costs, and support the successful realization of a landmark Indigenous wellness destination in the Edmonton region.
